FWIW, I was having the same problems switched to a 3com card and still had the same problems. Installed SP3 and 7.13 and I don't get as many 10054 errors, maybe ten or fewer a day now, compared with about sometimes a hundred a day before.

We're running w2k SP2 and Imail 7.12. It's on a Xeon 600 with 1.5G of RAM and 4 10k RPM drives on RAID 5. I did disable all NIC mgmt functions (allow system to put it to sleep and allow it to wake up system) and I upgraded the Intel drivers to the latest, all with no resolution. If SP3 addresses some tcp issues we may go ahead and try it on here. I'll let everyone know what happens. -David - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Leske" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, September 30, 2002 12:11 PM Subject: [Possible Spam]Re: [IMail Forum] NICs and Imail > What type of system is the server? w2k? if so disable the feature that > allows the nic card to be turned off or put in standby mode.
