If the mailserver can receive mail, the DNS report will pass.  It can't 
know if you are having problems sending mail (the "stack connect fail" 
problem), however

I'm guessing that it said that you don't have a reverse DNS entry for your 
IP ("reverse MX" isn't a DNS term, as far as I know)?  That means that the 
IP address that your mailserver is on does not have a reverse DNS 
entry.  If you go to http://www.DNSstuff.com and use the Reverse DNS Lookup 
tool, it will provide some more information (and a link to a page with some 
helpful information on reverse DNS).

True.  But, you also need your ISP or bandwidth provider to tell the world 
that your DNS server exists.  Otherwise, your reverse DNS entries will sit 
unused on your DNS server, with nobody knowing to ask you for them.
