I'm currently using iMail 7.13 and the Anti-Virus add-on for it. Every so often, my server will lock up and will keep requeueing messages. Thus nothing is sent to my users and the machine slowly grinds to a halt. Here's an example of the error code that I get
20021014 114117 127.0.0.1 SMTP (243) Error from Virus scan server, code = 1 20021014 114117 127.0.0.1 SMTP (243) requeuing l:\imail\spool\Q0fc6001e0048a0c0.SMD R0 T1 20021014 114117 127.0.0.1 SMTP (243) finished l:\imail\spool\Q0fc6001e0048a0c0.SMD status=3 Now, I've disabled Real Time Scanning that I use with NAV 7.6 CE as well as disabled the daily scans of the mail, spool, temp and user directories. However, every so often (between 2 and 5 days), I keep having this problem. When I reboot, the problem corrects itself, but obviously this is unacceptable. I can't be alerted that something's wrong by e-mail either because well, the e-mail server isn't sending out any messages. Does anyone have any helpful advice that I could try out?
