Hello list,To you have access to another provider??
I am fairly new to IMail and I recently discovered that my server has been added to a few Black Hole list data bases. I am not exactly sure how or why I was black listed. "No Mail Relay" option was turned on. I have tested this. The best assumption that I have for why I have been blacklisted is based on very cryptic explanations from some of the BL sites. My ISP is Qwest and apparently there are known spammers utilizing Qwest IP's. It looks like these BL's have blocked entire IP ranges owned by Qwest. Unfortunately, my IP falls within one of these ranges.
My question's: How do I get off of these BL's?
Has anyone else experienced similar problems?
From the information that I know of, as being a member of " Spam Cop" they sent me information on why, how and how to??
Get on BL and off from them. And it stated that if you are running behind an ISP that had been BL that you can attempt to contact
that companies that have you BL and give them your IP address, and explain that you have just Gotten this IP Address for your
mail server, and see if they will work with you to have it removed from the BL Listing...
The other choice that was given is to find another ISP to get a IP Address from. Or try to purchase a clean IP Address
from the internet (They did not give no internet address's to IP Address sites though :-( )
Good Luck and hope that they will concider your delema and remove your IP Address from the list.
Take Care
