There were a few DNS issues that allowed things to work for a while, but once one thing was corrected, other problems became apparent. It can not be stressed enough, as others have very clearly stated that clean and accurate DNS is absolutely essential to the smooth operation of e-mail. If you are going to administer an e-mail server or provide support for such, it is a must that you understand DNS, and/or respect/heed the advice of those that indicate that DNS is a source of problems. I personally thank those true Gurus on this list, such as Sandy, Len, Scott and others, that have taught me this important fact since becoming an e-mail admin, and which has allowed me to now help others.
