I wrote a similar tool to delete GSE files older than X time. I went a step
further and identified the habitual offenders (spam domains) sorted by
frequency. I now block the worst offenders completely up front with a
Declude 'fromfile' test. My logic is "If you can't take it, don't dish it
out" - GSEs to bogus bounce addresses are now a fraction of what they used
to be. These are all plain spam or marketing junk anyway.

Subject: RE: [IMail Forum] Problem with spool not removeing GSE files

Hey I am fed up with the GSE's too. I wish there would be a separate
processing policy for them.

Here is something interesting. Some of our Imail servers are set up to use
gateway instead of delivering outgoing mail on their own. Even with the
gateway, there is a good number of GSE files in the queue. Do the GSEs have
a lower processing priority?
