JWC> I like the Declude products, but it's not an end user solution. I have been thinking about this quite a bit. I think about all most users can handle is a "hotmail" type approach where the user can choose some levels of filtering along with some whitelisting and blacklisting and some rudimentary custom filters. I've added a facility to our current hold review program that allow us to resort the held messages into domain folders and I've moved all of our filtering into a sql database with a web maintenance interface. I took a bit of a different approach from Scott's suggestion about the IMAIL web interface being changed to allow a hook. I just added a hook from my web hold review interface to the IMAiL spam account - which is just one now for the server but could be one per domain. But I'm pretty conflicted about it now. It works great for us and it might even work for a domain administrator. But to go to the user level would definitely require a lot of effort. Scott's right too - it is the web interface that needs to hold the origin for the user's spam interface.
