I have Imail server 7.13 and can not send mail to a particular domain
hiwaay.net I have contacted them and they use sendmail 8.12 I can query the
MX records for the domain which return



Their MX records are OK.




I get a user unknown return message but, I can connect to hiwaay.com on port
25 and send the message directly to the user account.




What do the logs say?  Are you telneting from the same IP as the 
mailserver, and using the same return address?  Most likely, they have 
blocked you for some reason.



Hopefully, a future release of IMail will give the reason that the mail was 
rejected, rather than the generic "User unknown".
