Hi Paul / Imail group,

No problem at all. Actually, I am surprised it let you use the SQL
login. On NT 4, MDAC 2.7 there is a cache / file system security
restriction that will not let the ODBC manager interact with that Imail
odbcuser.dll without a proper rights (admin) with NT login. Mind you
2.6, would let you login with a SQL login and let Imail's odbcuser.dll
connect to SQL. So this obviously was a bug change in how MDAC relates
to NT 4 & 3rd party ODBC components.

NT 2000 must have changed the structure of the file manager and how it
relates to the rights of MDAC / ODBC access to the OS.

I literally "guessed" that using the NT login would be your most
efficient way for the OS to route to the 3rd party dll from Imail no
matter what the platform or version of MDAC. Luckily, that guess paid
off for both of us.
Respectfully,
