  Thanks for your response.. I was afraid of that, but I was also hoping use
a gateway would help with the problems associated with lists. Just trying to
put a band-aid on the List problem until I can implement a better list
service.

What do you think about setting the SMTP processes above 100? That could
alleviate this problem. I'm running on a Dual Xeon 2.4 with 1 GB.
