Thanks Christian, I'll check those.  The directory, locally, has full
control to everyone.

But it worries me that you say "iusr".  Does this whole script need to be
running on IIS?  Right now we just have the IMail built-in web server
running.  I created the directories under imail\web, so, imail\web\cgi and
imail\web\forums are the paths.

Missing permissions perhaps?
Perl requires some read permissions for the iusr to run (in the perl dir).
This can generate strange errors and behaviour. Maybe you want to check your
security logs.
