Thanks Sandy, I understand now.  The HTML did display while in the Imail\Web
hierarchy so that is kind of odd.

I think the trick now is putting the script on my intranet web server and
then finding a way for imailsrv2.pl on the web box to communicate with
subscribe2.pl on the Imail server, if that's what it even does.  Hopefully
it was planned when this script was created that there would be 2 separate
boxes involved.

It  needs to be running on a webserver that can interpret Perl scripts
(could  be  Apache,  IIS,  whatever).  The  IMail  web server can only
interpret  IMail's  tag-based language; it also has no public area, so
there would be no proper place to put such a form in either case.
