Our AnswerTrack Server product might work for you. Among other features,
it archives into a db (Access or SQL Server) all email between Agents of
your company and customers, and lets you review all conversations via the
web interface. Attachments are automatically decoded and archived, too.

Besides tracking all inbound mail to sales@, support@, etc., an Agent can
initiate a tracked conversation with a subject line command. For example,
the Agent can send an email TO "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" with a subject line
of "cmd:to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Here is your itinerary". The message is
received and archived by AnswerTrack, then forwarded on to the customer.
When the customer replies, the reply goes back to "[EMAIL PROTECTED]",
and is routed back to the original Agent.

AnswerTrack integrates well with IMail server by using a program alias
trigger, or you can run it on a standalone box by turning on its SMTP
listener and just forward the accounts you wish tracked to it. The Lite
version will let you evaluate all features: http://www.answertrack.com.
