Ah, I see now.
If you wanted a copy in a mailbox then you'd need to send the
message to an alias and then forward to a program alias for
processing. But for just processing you don't need to do that.

No, the message file path is presented to the program alias. It
will be something like "C:\IMail\spool\tmpC558.tmp". So your
program will open the file, parse it, and then you have to delete
it when you're done.
It was kind of difficult for me to get the program alias working at
first but it really woks very well once you get it going.
