The card, an Adaptec 2400, has IRQ7 hardcoded in its BIOs.
I've never heard about that compatibility problem and the 2400a manual indicates the IRQ is standard PCI self-assigning and flexible:

Controller IRQ and Address
During the host system boot process, the system BIOS should
automatically configure the controller BIOS interrupt level (IRQ)
and memory location for all Adaptec PCI controllers in the system.
