I modified the rule to move messages to "test" folder instead of deleting them. Sure enough, outgoing messages started being saved in the "test" folder. That's exactly what should happen.
The "Sent" messages folder just means that when you send an E-mail via web messaging, a copy goes to both the recipient and to your "Sent" folder ("[EMAIL PROTECTED]").
So if you have a rule set up to delete e-mail that does not have your address in the "To:" header, these E-mails will get deleted. If you set up a rule to move them to the "test" folder, sure enough, they will get sent to the "test" folder. :)
So, it sounds like you are looking for Ipswitch to add a feature that would let you bypass this behavior (perhaps by adding "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" to the To: header, or having an option not to scan "Sent" E-mail).
