This is driving me nuts..... I have recently set up our servers so that users must now authenticate when sending mail - I am hosting for about 50 domains in all.
No easy job as I had to talk several of them through setting up the authentication process on their mail clients. However, I am now left with 2 users out of about 250 who cannot authenticate whatever I try. They are both using M$ Outlook Express ( newer versions ). The server is set up for "No Mail Relay" and "Disable SMTP AUTH" is not ticked "Disable SMTP VRFY" is ticked. Has anyone been here before have ANY ideas as to what is happening here? and what's more to the point why it doesn't work.
