Now you are talking about ETRN then. Never tried. We are using Rockliffe Mailsite as
ETRN server. Its GUI has a place to specify the target domains to which relay can be
allowed from anywhere.

Subject: [IMail Forum] Using Microsoft SMTP Server as Backup
All this talk about store and forward has got me thinking. Has anyone used
the Microsoft SMTP server (the one that comes with IIS) as a backup server?
For me, the only reason would be to capture mail while my main (Imail)
server is down (IIS and IMail are on seperate machines). This would be
nice, since we wouldn't have to purchase a second copy of IMail, and we
would put the MS SMTP server to some more use than sending out the odd email
from a web form.
