wait, they are dialing into your network, as in RAS ? then they all have IP addresses assigned to them by you. So you could allow you local subnet as a "group of computers" in the "Relay mail for [Addresses]"

Er, nope. As I said in my earlier message... No domains or users are registered on the server. However, I may have been given "duff" info on the actual subnet so now armed with the correct information I will give it another try. One previous response suggested that I would need to enter all of the IP addresses for the users dialling in. Surely not. As far as I have understood iMail supports subnets ie. Address: 62.200.0.0 Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0 Or have I been fed "duff" info. again? Uh, because you set up the domain as local to the machine with no users in it! If you want to set up an relay-only server, use a special subdomain (relay.example.com). I hesitate to add this, but you could also set up a one-way peering situation that would also solve the problem, but at a certain cost in complexity. -Sandy To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ _____________________________________________________________________ This message has been checked for all known viruses by the MessageLabs Virus Scanning Service supplied by Aquatania Ltd.
