wait, they are dialing into your network, as in RAS ?

then they all have IP addresses assigned to them by you. So you could allow you local
subnet as a "group of computers" in the "Relay mail for [Addresses]"

Er, nope.

As I said in my earlier message... No domains or users are registered on the
server. However, I may have been given "duff" info on the actual subnet so
now armed with the correct information I will give it another try.

One previous response suggested that I would need to enter all of the IP
addresses for the users dialling in. Surely not. As far as I have understood
iMail supports subnets ie.

Address: 62.200.0.0 Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0

Or have I been fed "duff" info. again?

Allen

Uh, because you set up the domain as local to the machine with no
users in it!

If you want to set up an relay-only server, use a special subdomain
(relay.example.com).

I hesitate to add this, but you could also set up a one-way peering
situation that would also solve the problem, but at a certain cost in
complexity.
