Running a Packetshaper 4500 here. We demo'd both the Allot and the
Packeteer. Both have their strong points. I liked the gui of the packeteer
better.

I can give you access to view our Packeteer if you'd like. Please contact
me off list and I can co-ordinate a demo.

Subject: [IMail Forum] OT: Bandwidth Managers

Hello

I am in the 'selection' stage of a Bandwidth Manager device - like an
appliance to 'plug and play'. Solutions to install s/w, build kernels ( in
*nix world ) or similars are not my strong point.

The contenders -for me- are Packeteer Packetshaper 4500, Allot NetEnforcer
301 and Emerging Technologies ET/BWMGR R-1700i.

Anybody has experience with this ones ? Anothers ? Any suggestion, advice or
something to help me take the decision ?

Best regards and thanks for your time

Andres
