Does any one know if there is a conflict if Imail is configured to send all remote mail through a gateway (Imgate) but is also configured for a domain in the store and forward scenario where the IP of the client server is in the HOSTS file?
I discovered this back in 99, thought this was fixed at one point, but apparently it's still broken.
"Send all mail through gateway" routing overrides the hosts routing.
I have a IMail/IMGate client who was sending all outbound through IMGate, and wanted some inbound from IMGate to go to Imail, get Decluded, and then relayed to his client's mailbox server vis hosts setting. Instead of boing to his client, it got sent back to IMGate, back to Imail, back to Imgate, until IMGate broke the loop.
