Just a dumb Q....
As I just started up my mail server... spam a very big problem on a server that contains lets say... 200 virtual hosts?

I agree that this is an Imail bug in that if a domain is in the HOSTS file, that should take precedence over a smart host. (Send all to remote gateway.) As more of us take steps to combat Spam and such, this issue will continue to pop up.
