I am seeing the lines below in our log files, they have only started to appear over the last 3 weeks. Prior to this our log files were much smaller due to the absence of these lines. (192.168.0.2 being the IP address of our server behind a Firewall).

This shows that your mailserver is connecting to itself, every 2 minutes, but not actually sending any E-mail.
This is almost certainly either the Monitor that comes with IMail, or another similar network monitoring program.
