Does the DOS version work?  It's free and I can use wsftp scripting and
a scheduler to get daily or weekly virus definition updates for free
too.

You can use the DOS version with Declude Virus, but you should be aware that the free version is for personal use only (the registered version is just $20/year). However, we recommend using the Windows version ($40/year), as it uses a 32-bit command line scanner, and some servers choke when running too many 16-bit processes (causing very unusual side effects).
