I need a little help. Various emails that belong in this thread have been filtered because in the body of the message they have .scr, .pif, .bat etc. I applied those filter rules and thought that is was just for attachments and not for when anyone just wrote the file extensions down. What am I doing wrong.
You're not doing anything wrong -- filters catch words, not attachments. There isn't any way that I can think of to block attachments with 100% accuracy using filters.
