Hmmm. Your response was sent to my psi.net account which then forwarded it to my Imail account. According to the logs, it ran the antispam checks and was able to connect to all of the blacklists. I haven't touched anything since I posted 3 minutes ago! I tested a couple more and messages from hotmail and they're all coming in with responses now.
Well, since I only started testing it before lunch, I'll assume my local DNS server was having issues and cross this problem off the list. Thanks for your suggestions Scott. ~Amy -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of R. Spam database lookups just use standard DNS packets, so if you can send out E-mail, you don't have to punch any holes in the firewall. >FYI: sentineltrans.com is active email hosted by psi.net. Note that with IMail v8's anti-spam, the IP-based spam tests won't work in this case (since they will see the IP of the psi.net mailserver). However, the tests should at least run -- is you local DNS server blocking certain types of DNS lookups (very few do)? -Scott --- Declude JunkMail: The advanced anti-spam solution for IMail mailservers.
