Scott, it appears the biggest issue is that the domain delphiauto.com  doesn't have any MX servers assigned to it.  Also, if you telnet to 164.109.59.132 on port 25, you don't get a response which tells me that either there is no mail server on that IP or the mail server is having problems.  My guess is that there is no mail server at that IP.

Doing a Dig on the domain delphiauto.com, I see that the IP 164.109.59.132 is only the A record for that domain and that there are no MX's listed for this domain.  I would start with the customer to make sure they are emailing to the right domain and if they are, then someone at delphiauto.com needs to be notified of the problem with their DNS setup of that domain.

You can see from the information below what I'm talking about.

Subject: [IMail Forum] MX connect fail

It appears that I can't send email to the delphi.com domain.

I experience hardware issues last week with that server and had to install iMail on a different server. My user hasn't been able to send email to the delphi.com user since then. Why they waited until yesterday to bring it to my attention I don't know. :)

Anyway I am running iMail 6.0. I am upgrading to 8 tonight. The server only has 1 nic. I saw issues with multihomed servers and MX connect issues. Here is the log snip

06:04 10:46 SMTP-(000000FD) Trying delphiauto.com (0)

06:04 10:47 SMTP-(000000FD) MX connect fail "164.109.59.132"

06:04 10:47 SMTP-(000000FD) requeuing d:\imail\spool\Q064d1f8.SMP R0 T1

06:04 10:47 SMTP-(000000FD) finished d:\imail\spool\Q064d1f8.SMP status=3

It doesn't say much. I don't appear to be having problems with any other domain. and the user @delphi.com is sending email to my user. Any suggestions?
