I have to move my NOC this coming weekend. Do to problems with the ISP, the new connection may not be up until 3 days later. (Even though I notified them a month ago.)
I am thinking of temporarily moving my Imail server to a different location for 5-6 days on a friend's line. My thought is that since Imail will listen on each IP, if I add the temporary IP address, change the gateway and DNS IP, Imail services should function fine without having to change the IP in Imail, correct?

Don't forget to lower your DNS TTLs ahead of time, too. That way when you move your server to the new IP, and change your DNS records, people won't have the old IP cached on their servers.
As long as IMail is accepting mail on the new IP, and the MX record for your domain has been changed to a host pointing to the new IP, I don't see why it shouldn't work.
Cheers, Bryan
