In addition to the change in TTL for DNS, I would recommend also adding MX
records for the other IP instead of changing the IP from one to the other.
This allows server-to-server traffic the ability to use the 2nd MX IP for the
temporary duration.  When you're back and running on the correct IP, servers
will still be able to contact you regardless of DNS caching.
