we have 8000+ users and as internet in india is quite slow so 90% people use POP3 only
and aren't all Indian local calls metered as in Europe?
( N.American vendors who offer only web-based support forums instead of mailing lists really screw their overseas customers by forcing them to pay on-line telco connectioncharge to read a web forum instead allow them to suck a mailing list down quickly with POP or Imap. )
and we are quite dumb stuck with Imail's inability to report POP3 donwload usage stats.
What users read with POP3 is written with SMTP (does Imail8 queue manager still log ldeliver lines?) and fully logged with pre-8 "SMTP ldeliver" log lines, so for every user, you can account for their mailbox stats approximately but effectively with "SMTP ldeliver" log lines.
