Their email client doesn't send a fully qualified host name or is sending an incorrect 
host name when it issues the HELO or EHLO to the SMTP server when sending email

Usually it will be something like compaq or hp-desktop or computer

When IMail attempts to resolve these names to an IP address it can not so it fails the 
HELO test.

You can add their IP addresses (or a range of IP addresses) to the Trusted IP address 
list to prevent this
