I have seen this only once before, it was due to a new dirver I had installed for the video card. Now as for the Battery Reconditioning. This is to be quite normal and this prompt should occur every 6 months to a year in my experience. Here is a Dell KB article to help you out. http://support.dell.com/us/en/kb/document.asp?DN=1037353 Now from MS KB... Have you recently installed SP3? http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;316605 KB articlwe on how to decipher stopp messages in Windows 2000 http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/prodtechn ol/windows2000pro/reskit/part7/proch33.asp Google Group Article - This one matches darn near exactly your problem. Disable any screen saver or standby mode as your video driver isn't happy http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&threadm=9dpkkk%2 45c9%40dispatch.concentric.net&rnum=3&prev=/groups%3Fq%3D0x80000003%26hl%3De n%26lr%3D%26ie%3DUTF-8%26oe%3DUTF-8%26selm%3D9dpkkk%25245c9%2540dispatch.con centric.net%26rnum%3D3 You can do the rest.
