Sorry that goes out to people I send mail to and I usually erase it from
those messages that don't need it. I have actually found a program that
works for most users. I don't use the bounce back feature of it at all just
for that reason.

If the AV program happens to detect a virus in an .mbx file (most don't,
but if they can detect a virus in a .smd file, they can probably detect one
in an .mbx file), it will typically delete the whole .mbx file. That file
includes all the E-mail that the recipient has stored on your server
(either the mail that they are waiting to download, or all their mail if
they use the "Leave a copy of the E-mail on the server" option in their
mail client).

Please don't -- at least not the way your anti-spam program does. The
program you are using SPREADS spam, contributing to the problem. Very,
very few spammers use a real return address. That means that your program
is bouncing the E-mail to either non-existent addresses (just causing more
of your resources to be used for no reason), or to real addresses (in which
case your resources are being used, *and* you are just sending the spam to
someone else!).
