Why would it delete everything in a folder instead of just the >infected file ? If the AV program happens to detect a virus in an .mbx file (most don't, but if they can detect a virus in a .smd file, they can probably detect one in an .mbx file), it will typically delete the whole .mbx file. That file includes all the E-mail that the recipient has stored on your server (either the mail that they are waiting to download, or all their mail if they use the "Leave a copy of the E-mail on the server" option in their mail client). > FIGHT BACK AGAINST SPAM! Please don't -- at least not the way your anti-spam program does. The program you are using SPREADS spam, contributing to the problem. Very, very few spammers use a real return address. That means that your program is bouncing the E-mail to either non-existent addresses (just causing more of your resources to be used for no reason), or to real addresses (in which case your resources are being used, *and* you are just sending the spam to someone else!). -Scott --- Declude JunkMail: The advanced anti-spam solution for IMail mailservers.
