Eric, I think what Kami is saying is that someone from spammerville sends a message to you at your IPSwitch e-mail address with a "From" address of [EMAIL PROTECTED] and you receive the message because your account is local, so SMTP Auth is not required.
So, he is asking why IMail cannot so a simple check of any "From" address that claims to be from a local domain, and if the account does not exist and is not an alias, then reject the message.
