Exchange has a utility called exmerge (resource kit for 5.5 or Exchange cd
for 200x) allowing you export mailboxes less than 2GB in size to a .pst
file.
Outlook can then use this .pst file to merge with IMail data.

If they are using public folders, that data can be exported with Outlook to
a .pst file if needed (some might have a resource mailbox in Imail that
serves the same function as an Exchange public folder did).
