Windows 2000 SP-4 IMail 8.02 (tried IMail 8.03, but could not close Open Relay) IIS Installed (No IIS SMTP)
IMail works great.. Web Interface works fine.. User IDs/passwords appear to be fine. However, in testing, I was able to send using a bogus name. Also, closed down where it would accept mail to anybody. Not only am I able to send with a bogus name, but with no password too using Outlook/Outlook Express.. We went through the 10-step "relay mail" fix - http://support.ipswitch.com/kb/IM-20021108-DM01.htm ..
What are we missing?
