What are you relay settings?Currently, the Relay settings are as follows:
SMTP Service - "SMTP Security" "No Mail Relay" Checked "Check valid Sender" Checked Control Access - All computers granted access Kill File - Does not exist
Advanced Tab- Refuse NULL Senders - checked
User Database is from Windows 2000 (NT-Based) using LDAP. It appears that the SIDs/Passwords/etc. are not transferred across?
There is no reason not to use 8.03. What are you refeering to saying "tried
Imail 8.03, but could not close Open Relay" Relaying is done by settings you
configure.
Right, we went through this process on at least four occaisions with 8.03.
We went through the 10-step "relay mail" fix -
