hmm, I suppose Imail uses the Windows resolver, the DNS Client, rather than having its own resolver (in the way Imail has its own SMTP client).
Do any other tcp/ip apps that would use the OS rexolver, like browsing, ftp, etc, work ok?

so the problem has nothing to do with MS DNS, assuming the ISP DNS isn't MS DNS?
Sounds like some screwup in the OS resolver, or screwup between the OS resolver and Imail. Let's see, how about wipe and re-install? :))
