Sounds like some screwup in the OS resolver, or screwup between the OS resolver and Imail. Let's see, how about wipe and re-install? :))
I run IMail 8.03 on Win2k3 and had the same problems that were mentioned where the MS DNS on the box doesn't work right with the ip4r tests. I gave up and stopped trying and now just use my Linux / BIND boxes for DNS like I did before. Something is weird about Win2k3's DNS server. Was too lazy to figure out what was wrong.
