1- If the VD user do not authenticate, the smtp rdeliver ehlo will be the official imail hostname. but is the user does authenticate, the smtp ehlo will be mail.VD.com therfore, when using virtual domains, it is going to be impossible to make the PTR and Ehlo same (if you use authent.) that is a problem for users like me with 50+ VD on the same IP
That's not a problem. No decent mailserver or anti-spam program will complain if the EHLO/HELO does not match the PTR.
If the server EHLOs as mail.VD.com, and the PTR is mail.example.com (with both mail.VD.com and mail.example.com having A records pointing back to the IMail server), you should have no problems. If someone doesn't accept your mail, that is *their* problem.
