It's very important to realize that [1] rules designed to block attachments
will not catch all attachments, and [2] rules designed to block attachments
will usually catch some legitimate mail, too.

Ignore the Knowledge Base article -- check the archives to find the best
ways to block attachments.  If done properly, you should be able to catch
most of the attachments you want while rarely catching any E-mails without
those attachments.  Of course, if you have mailserver AV software (like
Declude Virus) that supports it, you can use the AV software to block the
extensions accurately.
