We seem to get intermittent delivery failures for valid email addresses.

For incoming E-mail to your server, or outgoing E-mail from your server?

What do the log files show for one of these E-mails?

My first piece of advice, though, would be to lose your really nasty MX record -- while it looks cool at first that you have 5 MX records (2 priority 5, 2 priority 10, and a 99 -- making it *look* like you really know what you are doing, with redundant primaries, redundant secondaries, and a backup "just in case"), it's really horrible. Those 5 MX records boil down to 2 servers, your primary and a backup that is down. So a single MX record would replace the 5 that you have, function better, and prevent oddball problems. It is recommended that you *never* have the same IP appear more than once in your MX records.
