Youch! (I have not been following this thread but this paragraph caught my attention.) WHY WHY WHY do you have a NIC behind a firewall and one not behind a firewall on the same box? You are asking for problems. Yes, there are ways to mitigate possible problems, by why invite them in the first place? Why do you have ANY server/service not behind a firewall?
