Many thanks for the reply Andy.

Yes, I want to access my email stored on my ISP's mail server using IMAP. Unfortunately my ISP doesn't support

IMAP. So I'm stuck with POP3 as a means to access my email held at my ISP.

So the question is, how do I set up IMail to automatically download the email from my ISP's POP3 server into

IMail (which is on my home network) and then access the downloaded email via IMAP on IMail using MS Oultook?

This is all happening over a dial up 56k modem connection from my home.

Thanks.

Are you saying you want to access your mail stored on your ISP's mail server
via IMAP? If so, then your ISP must support IMAP access or you need to have
your mail forwarded from your ISP mail server to your IMail server and
access it via IMAP from there.

This is isn't going to work unless your ISP allows access via IMAP (which I
doubt they do using the server you specified.

Again, is probably because your ISP does not support IMAP access via that
server. You may want to check with your ISP if they do support IMAP, in
which case IMail doesn't really play a role in this scenario unless you set
it up so your ISP mail account is forwarded to a local account you created
in IMail then accessed everything from there.
