Write the messages in plain-text-- ie use notepad to compose the messages and then paste them into the Imail Web interface. Alternatively, compose the message directly in the web interface. The extra stuff is html which word or other email editors may be adding. Note-- Your ISP may have the web timeout set low, in which case you will compose a very nice message, hit send, only to receive a 404(/) message. That's why I recommend the latter instead of the former. If you are sending messages via a mail client (ie. Eudora, Pegasus, Outlook/Outlook Express), check your client documentation. Usually you can use the in-build help.

I'm experimenting with the list server. When I receive messages (that I've sent as tests by myself), they contain line after line of formatting information (font, size, etc.) so what may start out as a one-line post turns into a L-O-N-G post! I use Word as my e-mail editor and that seems to be where all that extra code is originating, but I don't want to switch that off and I can't expect others to do the same.
I get this forum in digest mode and I see some posted messages have the same characteristics. Any idea how I can insure messages appear short, sweet, and to the point, without the extra "clutter?"
