was one way to setup Round Robin DNS?
it is. DNS will return the MX records in, normally, cyclic fashion.
Another way to do it, is have one MX record, but the MX hostname has two A records.
This is dumb load distribution, not smart load balancing.
Note that with two balanced targets, each target must be able of carrying the full load. If it can't, then you need to start with 3 targets, so that 2 can carry the full load.
