Very true, I hadn't thought about that. Maybe another solution would be to find someone that can "mail bag" for you. I had a number of customers that did this. They were using exchange though. Here's how we had it setup for them:
DNS etc all pointed to ISPs servers customers domain had a catch all (a nobody account) where mail was stored Customers exchange server would pop3 in every few minutes to check for mail, seperate mail to the respective accounts. Outgoing, the exchange box used the ISPs server as the smart host This worked pretty well, however, we were using mailsite at the ISP level and large messages would corrupt the mail box and would kill the pop3 session with out having the downloaded messages deleted, thus resulting in extra traffic when the server pop3d in later. Make it known that I am in NO way saying switch to exchange. It's a monster to admin, and definitly over kill for a handfull of users as well as pricy. We have 200+ where I work and imail is perfect.
