Another such device is the Netbotz units. We use one to monitor temperature
on our servers...many options are available. By default it has a
motion-sensing camera, temperature sensor, humidity sensor, etc....built in.
You can plug in many different sensors for placement around the area, or as
add-on sensor types...and it, too, connects via Ethernet. It can be
configured to send email whenever a sensor is set off. The motion sensor
sends pictures whenever there is any motion within the field of vision you
setup.... http://www.netbotz.com

We just bought this Ethernet device, and are very happy with it. We've
also got it set up to monitor 110 power & e-mail me at home if it goes down.
