Hi Travis,

I used a solution called Sensaphone. It did not plug into USB, but was
pretty cool. It can monitor temp high/low limits, power, humidity, and a few
other things: http://www.smarthome.com/7005.html

If anybody is interested, I have a unit available for sale - so contact me
off list at [EMAIL PROTECTED] for details.

Thanks
