I have one mail server where I am running IMAIL 6.0x on Windows NT. It has several large mailing lists on it (20,000+) and that usually works fine. We send out newsletters at 1 AM and 2 AM every day - but sometimes we have to send out a news release which we did at 9 AM this morning and everything just went into the spool and sat there. My theory is that IMAIL sometimes does not trigger all of the SMTP threads. When I view the spool it shows the mail sitting in there with no attempts to send out. Does anyone know why this occurs sometimes and anyway to fix it?
